Kala Ashram Ayurved Medical College and Hospital
Kala Ashram Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Gogunda, Udaipur, was granted permission by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine(NCISM) and also received permission from Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur for admitting 60 UG seats for the session 2025-26
Kala Ashram Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Gogunda, Udaipur, was granted permission/recognition by the Department of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi, to commence the B.A.M.S. undergraduate course from the academic session 2014–15. Prior to this, the Government of Rajasthan had issued an NOC in Form-4 and granted permission under Section 35(4) for an intake of 60 seats through counseling conducted by Dr. S.R. Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur, starting from 2014–15. The University also provided consent of affiliation in Form-5 for conducting the B.A.M.S. course. Upon approval by the Ministry of AYUSH/NCISM, affiliation was formally granted by Dr. S.R. Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur.
Since its inception, the college has been functioning successfully, with six batches having graduated till date. The institution complies with all statutory obligations and fulfills the basic requirements as per the rules and regulations of the IMCC Act, 1970.
The college is registered under the Rajasthan Anatomy Act, 1986 (Act No.12 of 1986) under clause (d) of section 2, state government under the gazette notification has declared Kala Ashram Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Village Bansada at Gogunda, Udaipur as a “teaching medical institution”.
The college hospital is also registered under the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board in FORM IV (Rule 10 of BMW Rules 2016) for established hospital with proper implementation of the clinical activities as well the disposal of Bio-Medical Waste under the proper guidelines in the Act for Authorization for operating a facility for Collection, Disposal, Generation, Reception, Storage, Transport, Treatment of Biomedical Wastes.
